Fraud


A 51 year old Excelsior District man reported that he negotiated with two others over the price of a television set. They agreed on the price of $700. The man took delivery of the television only to find that it was two pieces of wood wrapped in plastic.

Attempted Residential Burglary

Officer Hampton and Officer Gonzalez found a man screaming as he stood on the roof of a home. They found the side door to the home forced open. They arrested the 43 year old Concord resident for attempted burglary.

Grand Theft from Person

A 23 year old Visitacion Valley man was walking on the sidewalk listening to music from an iPod when another man asked him what time it was. When the victim looked at his watch the other man snatched the iPod from his hands and ran away with it.

Carjacking


A woman threatened a pizza delivery man with a metal bar and took his car from him. The man pushed a pedestrian from the fleeing vehicle's path and landed on his car's hood. The suspect drove recklessly and threw the victim from the car's hood to the ground. A passerby picked up the victim and followed the stolen car, trapping it on the 100 block of Loehr Avenue. Officer Orge and Officer Smith arrested the woman, an 18 year old Potrero Hill resident, and booked her into the County Jail on three felonies.

Aggravated Assault

A 27 year old Bayview District man struck another man over the head with a bottle during an argument in a bar. He then punched a woman in her shoulder. Officer Rosaia was flagged down and arrested the perpetrator.

SFFD personnel extinguished two car fires and declared the causes to be suspicious.

A 19 year old OMI district man was challenged to fight by two others who got the best of him by hitting him in the ribs with a piece of wood.

Occurred between 7:30 am & 6 pm. No forced entry found. Stuffed animals taken.

Aggravated Assault

Two men spent the night drinking together and returned to one's apartment. They argued and struck each other. One got the better of the other and fled. The victim was treated at SFGH.

Robbery


A Bayview District man claimed that he was robbed of his car at gunpoint. His statement did not make sense to Officer Johnson who determined that the car had been involved in a Hit and Run collision in the Mission District. Nevertheless, the man insisted on filing a robbery report.

Two customers walked out of store without paying full amount for beer. Clerks confronted the pair and fight ensued. Clerks able to retain beer.

Aided Case


Pedestrian chased MUNI bus and pounded on door in attempt to gain entry. Bus was moving in traffic and could not stop. Pedestrian fell to ground and had to be taken to SFGH, he was deemed uninjured and very drunk by medical doctors.

Occurred between 10:30 p.m. March 5, and 6 a.m. March 6. Forced entry to church's bathroom. Soap dispenser taken.

A 28 year old Sunset District man rolled his car while leaving Interstate 280. He sought help in a nearby development, instead he was set upon by a crowd and beaten.

Robbery


The bartender of a local pub saw a patron behind the bar and found that her money and her cell phone and her mother's purse were missing. She confronted the 44 year old San Francisco man outside the bar and found that he had her money and cell phone. They struggled for control of the items and a passerby assisted in recovering the items. The thief ran from the victim and hid in a nearby restaurant. The victim searched for her mother's purse and saw the perpetrator walk past her with a paper bag over his head. Officer Suguitan and Officer Altamirano arrived and arrested the man. They recovered the mother's purse nearby. The man was charged with robbery and parole violation.
